Jernigan, D.C., the purpose of this paper is to bring a broader understanding to the physiology of light metabolism in the human body and to present novel techniques of utilizing light diagnostically and therapeutically. Much work has been done to use light to achieve altered states of consciousness, and there is much research documenting the presence and activities of light within the body.
